Darkest Side lead singer Rick Beaman, and Master BIG (Travie Allen) will try to repeat history. Not to the point of success of "Walk This Way", but just to become one of few that have released a rock and rap titled song.

Both Darkest Side and Master BIG are looking for that once in a life time music break, this maybe it as both had into the studio to record "BOOTY" this month.

Personal cyber attacks are not pointed at actors, musicians, pop stars alone, government officials seem to have the most cyber attacks, including President George Bush and Hillary Clinton.

Without his newest girlfriend Shakira Coyle at his side during a Friday night gig. Rock singer Rick Beaman has dumped the young model after finding out she was posting the couples personal information on the Internet.

Rick told party goings Friday night, that he missed his girlfriend of old, and wished the two never broke up. Rick and Elizabeth (Johnson) were back together by Saturday afternoon, and both were reported very happy!

While attending a spring break ending party last night, lead singer Rick Beaman was asked to perform live. After several NO thanks, the singer finally gave in and got up on stage to perform several songs including REMAINS, DISTRACTED, and his new song "SOME PEOPLE".

With his own band not attending the party, the band playing the gig did a great job following the singer with just bass, drums, and Rick at lead guitar.

Lead singer Rick Beaman has a stalker who has repeatedly tried to contact him through the bands fun club, and the KJZA website.

A memo from the KJZA website was posted Wednesday not to release any information on the singer after a phone call from a male seeking information. The KJZA site said, it never releases any information on anybody, using terms "we don't know anything about them".

The alleged stalker has sent several emails to the bands fan club president asking about the lead singer. A source connected to Beaman says his "top notch" security is tracking down the stalker, and will try to get in touch with the man in question.

The band Darkest Side will have to delay their first album release until September, making it two months late. The titled album, Gothic Nights, the album will include 14 songs - was set to be released in July, before being postponed to September.

New rocker Rick Beaman is leaping to the defense of Britney Spears, insisting that no one has the right to criticize the falling pop star. Beaman is convinced that paparazzi, and news media have targeted Spears.

During Saturdays morning rock show, Rick spoke about Spears; "the press has made Britney out to be a monster, its really f#$king bull s#%t! It's a joke. The tabloids are destroying her with unfavorable reports. Even my own girlfriend takes digs at Britney."

Courtney Love has heaped praise on her friend lead singer Rick Beaman for having the guts to try his hand at music. The newest hard rocker will release a debut single “Darkest Side - Remaining” later this month.

Love insists new artists are always "welcome" in the industry and doesn't mind the competition.

He jokes, "You can take the carbon footprint and stick it up my ass. I don't care, I'm using electricity as long as I'm on this planet. I love turning stuff on, I love having giant plasmas (TVs) everywhere. If I could drive an electric car with a plasma in it, I would. I don't care about how much electricity I'm using.

"I like turning stuff on. I like to have everything in my house turned on. I hope that my carbon footprint is huge."

Rick Beaman laughs at fans who claim his songs have no meaning, to understand the songs he writes, you must listen to the words, all of the words in the songs have meaning and purpose. The lead signer of Darkest Side says he sits down to write songs with a meaning, purpose, and even a message.

He says, "When I write something, I have a specific idea of what the song is about. The wave of people who interpret the songs, are not always right. Every song has it's meaning and purpose."

He adds, "Grunge is not easy to follow or understand, not every rocker will like the music. Some say Grunge is hard rock, but it's far from it."

The song 'REMAINS', may not be a Billboard 100 music chart song.  But REMAINS features lead singer Rick Beaman, along with his group Darkest Side, the song is offers good vocals and guitar riffs, but most likely will never be a Billboard 100 or top 200 song.
